in my psych class we our doing group projects, my group is doing a rap.. I have no skill but if I recall correctly some ns members do! any chance you guys might be able to help me out?
the rap is about stress, if anyone knows more on the topic feel free to add the info even if you cant rap.
facts you can use:
-stress does not always come from bad things, it can come from good things like getting a promotion (new duties, more pressure) getting married, stuff like that.
-'good' stress is eustress
-bad stress is distress
-adrenal glands respond to stress and pump cortisol into the body
-cortisol tells the body to eat a lot (amongst other things) and it is adding to the obesity problem in north America, kinda like fat people are stressed about being fat and not loosing the weight, adding more cortisol thus getting more fat and more stressed about it.
-adrenal glands are fatiguing because stress is so much higher at this age then say 50 years ago.
-cortisol suppresses the immune system
-brain injury's can increase stress levels
-not enough sleep or healthy foods
-focusing on the negative, fortune telling and predicting the worst, 'mind reading' and thinking the people around you are thinking the worst adds to stress.

one kid wrote them in the last couple min because the other three of us have no skill...
hope some of you guys can help, or if you can see ways the rap we have now can be improved, would love the input.
