Afterbang bindings messed up

Ok, so I picked up my new afterbangs from the shop after getting them mounted and realized that the bindings were slightly off. I measure both skis with a tape measure and one is dead center, but the other is about a quarter of an inch forward on the other ski. If you stand the skis up next to eachother it is clearly noticeable that one of the skis is mounted higher up than the other. So my question is, will this be a problem? Since its only a quarter of an inch will it be unnoticeable when im skiing or should i go back to the shop and ask for a new pair?

May be noticeable.  Bring it back and demand a new ski.  If they wont, have them flip that ski and remount.

ok thanks for the reply. I assume they have to replace it because its their fault and just flipping wouldnt make it as durable as a new ski.

a fair few shoip stuff up there first a-bang mounting cause theres no top sheet but mounting to forward well thats no excuse....

haha ahhh grant, trust me ski company has messed up 2 of my mounting before so i went to snow and i tell them many times over and over again DEAD CENTER, DEAD CENTER, DEAD CENTER. and i told them to measure 3 times cuz im done gettin my skis fucked up. i kinda wanna learn to mount myself but im too scared

Good luck getting new skis, they will flip the ski and remount it. Its not gonna make the ski any weaker, especially since the holes will be far apart. They will refund your mount cost, and will probably hook you up with some in store credit.

i think that it will make them weaker because a bangs are wood and a hole in wood means a place for water to sit and rot the ski but thats just my opinion

ive heard that on some pairs of abangs the center lines printed on the ski sometimes dont line up.....

dude i think your right. my center lines line up if you have the graphics facing the same way, but i got them mounted with graphics facing the opposite direction after they asked me which way i would like. Since this is most likely why the mounted it wrong, can the blame me? or is the fault still on them?

Ya im gonna take them back in this weekend. Hopefully they will help me out. Im kinda worried that they will say its not their fault because the mid lines arent centered.
