I'm 15 years old 5 feet 5 and a half inches and live in Massachusetts. I am looking for new pair of skis. I ski mostly park and Im about 50% jumps 50% rails. Im decently skilled at rails and jumps. Ive always had junior skis but now Im looking for some real ones and I have no clue which ones I should get. I want a fairly light ski but besides that there are no restrictions. Im looking for some suggestion from knowledgeable people.
Definatly the Anthem. Don't get the Invader if your doing a lot of jumps, cause its too light and not as stable on the big jumps. The anthem is a great park ski and it butters just as good as the invader and is wider. Definatly get the Anthem.
there are so many skis you could get. Are you looking for something soft and buttery? how about stiff and poppy? Price range? Every company out there is going to have at least one ski that is meant to rip the park.
SO MANY. Price ranges, softness/stiffness, width would really be helpful.
Anthems are sick, AR6s, Alphas (if you want the rocker), Surface Nine Lives, Liberty LTEs, Amplid Antidogmas, THalls, Volkl Walls, the list goes on and on.
Something in the middle for stiffness. I dont want a board but I dont want a noodle. Not to fat low 90's at most but mid 80's would be ideal. At this point im not really looking at the money situation just for a good pair of skis. Just nothing to rediculous.
You really can't go wrong with anthems. I like the extra width, but just like everyone else, invaders, afterbangs, liberties, surface, etc... they're all good.
