Starving children Ad's

Has anybody seen the ads with the starving african children? I really dont think the NS demographic is the right one to be targeting for these. Like anybody on NS is going to give money to starving ethiopians. We can barely feed ourselves.

Its a step up from DPTC I guess

I have an idea; how about everyone stops complaining about the ads on the site. They're literally the main thing that keeps the site running. Just learn to deal with them.

I was just pointing out that it doesnt seem like it is the target audience for an ad like that, not that I'm annoyed by them.

Its not like NS gets to hand pick the ads that are shown, though I agree that no NSers will donate to those.

I am so sick of all these fucking threads about the ads. The only time a thread should be made about and ad is if that ad is invasive or has a virus. I think most of Site Discussion is now filled with ad threads. The bitching/talking about ads is NOW worse than the ads themselves. Who cares if NS is not the target audience? What about those weight loss ads? You think there are a lot of out of shape people on here? On a SKIING forum?

i give on a monthly basis. jp acular does more than enough to help out. mitchpee does too. i know many people who would give. its not pointless and yes it is ns' demographic as much as axe and obama wants moms to return to school is

maybe it should be something extra to think about when you go to bed at night thinking about how shitty your life is, so you realize how shitty it really could be. i dont think its an inappropriate commercial for the wrong demographic. i think a lot of people dont realize that you are the youth, and what you think will matter in the future and if your parents wont do shit maybe you will. you're not so helpless. and shit that goes down in the world, and around the world, for the most part in my opinion is highly important to be completely visible to everyone.

There's a lot of young people that are advocates for causes believe it or not.

I'm more worried about the Mormon Church advertising on NS. That's a little messed up.

I'm waiting for a friend of mine to finish class so I can borrow 5 bucks from him for lunch because my bank account is empty as a result of paying Level 1 for the licensing fees to put on a Refresh premiere in a few weeks. So... yeah?

Not complaining though... movie is going to be sick!
