Just Found Fentanyl in Stepdad's garage

What the fuck do I do?
My mom, who defends him to the death (that he isn't abusive/alcoholic/an asshole) would only accuse me of buying it to frame him, so telling her would do nothing.
I could confront him directly, but mingling in his trade could result in violence (I know he deals other opiates).
I could take photo evidence, keep it until I turn 16, and use it against him in a court, get emancipation and move in with my grandmother/uncle.
I could destroy it.
All I know is that I wont let it by me again. Ive found his Suboxone before, and didnt really do anything about it.

To add to this, I checked his history, and a few days ago he was reading all sorts of shit about FBI Clandestinely produced fentanyl from mexico, in the form of a Duregesic Transdermal patch, the most common form bought and sold illicitly, reinforcing my assumption that it was purchased illegitimately. They dont prescribe that shit to just anyone, that shits for like, cancer patients.

I dont know what the fuck to do

to the op:
my advice is dont tell your mom, shen obviously already knows and is trying to cover it up.  Tell either your favorite teacher or the police.  I woud see if one of your friends could give you a ride to the station, walk in with pictures in hand and show them whats going on.  talk it through with them and figure out your best plan of action.  The PO have counselors there who will be able to help you.

Your mom knows what's going on, you need to get the fuck out of that house. She's probably already told your stepdad that you found it too, so it might be gone by now.

No cancer patient that had to be on Fentanyl would LEAVE it somewhere. Obviously they are in immense pain, why would they leave behind the one thing helping them through that pain.

Go to your school first, tell them what's going on. Show them the pictures. I would say you need someone behind you first before you call the police, because once you call the police or say your stepdad finds out you did, he can easily move it or get rid of it all together (if he hasn't already). Get help from somewhere else first, and then they will help you with the rest.

Don't worry about your younger brother growing up in a home with a 'family'. You don't NEED a father figure in the picture to grow up and be a normal kid. You need to leave, and take him with you.

My best piece of advice is to not look to NS for advice. As helpful as we all like to think we are, very very few of us have ever been in situations remotely close to yours. I'd call an anonymous child help line. They're trained to deal with stuff like this, and will have way better advice than any of us.

That said, if I were you I'd take as many pictures as possible. I'd attempt to have a serious talk with your mom, bring up his past addiction issues, and talk about the possibility of rehab.

i was given fentanyl on the mountain at whistler when i separated my shoulder. They gave me that shit first and then put some morphine in after, im pretty sure its just a faster working version of morphine.

I agree. The situation you're currently in is very unhealthy, I couldn't imagine what you're going through. (I grew up with minimal contact to my parents)

That being said, the best thing you can do is to take care of yourself. Your mom will come to her senses at some point in time, but it seems to me from the way you described it, your current housing situation is bullshit. You shouldn't be exposed to hard drugs, especially from somebody you're supposed to trust and look up to.

What I do give a fuck about is you being an immature prick to a kid who is underage asking for help and turning to an anonymous community as a source of advice. I don't care what the dad is like, if he is on as hard of opiates as Fentanyl then he is a fucking addict and should not be the father of his stepson, nor his 8 month old. That is not the environment that these kids should be growing up in. Not only is it bad for the negligence I'm sure they get from both of their parents, it also has the potential of bringing in a lot of other hardcore shit in to his life that he doesn't need or deserve. It is hardly narcing when you are looking out for your own life from a drug addict stepdad. That is hardly the same as being a snitch and it sounds like you have A LOT to learn.

His dad isn't younger and experimenting in college, his dad has 2 kids and should be being responsible for them and bringing them up in a safe environment and is doing this shit NOW.
