hey guys, im taking next year off of college and going out west to ski. i was looking into pow skis and was wondering which would be better for me the reverse camber or the rocker. Im gonna be skiing pow and jumpind off of any large rock i can find haha. ill probably be at big sky or jackson hole where you can find a cliff anywhere you look. let me know what you think.
go for the hybrid like the JJ, the best of all worlds. Had the JJ's last winter and they were super fun... they're all busted and shit now though, so I'm going to get me a pair of Bibby Pro's this year. yay!

Personally, I love the idea of reverse camber skis. I wish someone would make one that isn't gynormously fat though so they'd be skiable in the park. But anyway, idk you can't really go wrong with either. Obviously it'll be a little harder to carve on a reverse camber ski if there isn't a lot of snow on the ground but idk.
If your really gonna get into it... and by the sound of things you want to ski pow and big mtn. maybe check tgr forums... but if I were you I would get a super fat rocker ski, a reverse camber, and a park ski. when I committed a winter out west, just puttin the cash down pays off in the end. if you get em now you can have the choice as the weather and conditions allow.. you'll have versatility of a reverse camber. a nice park ski, and an epic day pow ski... come spring you'll thank me.
