Usually if a binding looks beat to hell, stay away from it in my mind. Unless you are going to be using them as a beater ski, or if you are really strapped for cash. A binding that has been properly taken care of should cause no worries, and easly last a few seasons. There are a lot of guys out there that have been skiing the same binding for years. Many of the higher end bindings will last much longer simply because of the higer grade compnents used when making them. Just be sure to get a good adjustment done on them when you get them mounted.
