OK, so a kid at my school who was pretty well known just passed away, he had a brain tumor that he did not know about, he was pretty well known and everything and its super sad. but its the day before school starts and ever ones Facebook status is like "RIP :/ " or "L.L.P. (his initials) :(" idk i was just looking at them and all the emocons just seem disrespectful to me. i just seems super inappropriate to put a emocon next to RIP. i just want some second opinions i guess.
Don't dance on a broomstick if you can't clean up after yourself
yeah i would not really do that shit. if that happened to me where i worte on someones fb wall that had passed, i would have written them an entire long ass message to them for all to see, not just a RIP. that to me seems like you care enough to recognize the death and show your respect, but it really means something if you write a note or a short message to them.
impossible IS nothing
Bangor - this would be much better if the pokemon had tits.
A girl from my yoga class hung herself last year during school, some other girl made a hangman thing in her status with the girls name spelled out. It was severely fucked up, I'm pretty sure she transfered schools.
Anyways, people are just trying to show respect. Whether they do it in an immature fashion, you just have to believe their heart is in the right place.
I hear you. I found out about one of my best friend's death over Facebook just hours after he died in RIP group, and his last name was even spelt wrong. I have no beefs with the person for doing it, but they should have given a bit more time for family and friends to find out first.
some sophmore at my highschool got stabbed to death by another kid known to the school as indiana jones, he wears the clothing...including the hat yada yada. the kid that got stabbed was just some dorky white kid that was new to the school. indiana jones evidentially has asperges and is also a 14 year old kid getting tried as an adult for first degree murder.
I never use emoticons.. and I use the internet far too much.. basically the only people with rights to emoticons are good looking girls IMO. Honestly I don"t want to picture some ugly chick smiling, as her emoticons would have it.

"you hit a kid so hard he turned retarded" -kepler.
I think its pretty lame to talk about death on facebook - with emoticons..I also think its pretty shitty when you find out someone is getting married, had a kid, etc...on facebook through a status update. Its so impersonal.
why does every creepy faggot on the internet have a house made of shitty fake wood paneling? Seriously if I see a picture of someone eating a cup full of poop, fapping in a horse costume, or slicing their dick in half... there is shitty wood paneling in the background every fucking time.
It is disrespect ful because the people who do that are showing they obviously dont care enough to write a short message about him, but instead just write a small frownie face. So disrespectful in my opinion.

My Mom walked in on me...... With my ski clothes on. I JUST MISS IT SO BAD K?!
Its funny because you dont even have any idea what real trolling is, NS isnt even worth it though. Besides the fact that any thread I make will be instantly deleted. If you think im putting on some special act just to rile you fucks up youre wrong. I honestly 100% believe you guys are idiots, and nothing is funnier than death~
I don't think its bad. Sure it sucks to find out your friend died by seeing RIP and his/her initials on facebook, but if my friend died I would probably put that as my status. Its just a sign of respect, to let people know you care rather than just go on posting dumb stuff as your status. I would never use an emoticon, but for people that do, I guess it makes sense.
