Procrastination thread

Now that most of us have started school.  Who else has began procrastinating?  I have!  I should be at Ch. 11 for my AP World homework, I'm just starting Ch. 2.  MLIA!  I usually get on NS right when I get home and all of a sudden it is 5 o'clock and I am still on NS.  Then, I take a shower, eat dinner and it is like 7 o'clock, go on NS for 30 minutes-hour, and soon enough it is 8:00.  I do my math homework and all the other homework I have and I am wiped out so I never get any AP reading done.  Who else has these problems, and if so please feel free to post your procrastination remedies?

Oh no.  I just realized it's 7:00 and I still have to eat Dinner and shower.  AHHHHHH.  I hate NS.

Well I don't start school til Tuesday but I had a summer reading project to do and I didn't feel like doing it until today.  I just finished reading the book.  Now I have to write a 5 page paper by Tuesday morning and I have to work for 7 hours tomorrow.  MLIA.

I had to read the Great Gatsby and do a bunch of other shit after I read it for Summer work and I didn't start until a week before it was due.  I was regretting not getting it out of the way the first week of Summer.  I did my AP homework the week before school and did part of it the night before school.  It will be hard during ski season because I will need to read like two chapters ahead so I have no weekend homework.

i am the king of procrastination. I should have put in my application at Mcdonalds but i will wait till tommarow or something, same with mowing the lawn...fuck it i will wait till its nice out.

And for school i normally read the sparksnotes the day before the test.

and my homework i will do the class before its due.

I procrastinate SO bad. I had to read a book about the constitutional convention in4 days and write up a paper on it cuz I waited until the very last moment of summer to do it. Now school is starting and I am a senior so I just dont want to do anything. This should be fuN!

haha this happens to me everyday, and lucky for me my sister usually eventually kicks me off and wont let me get back on. so i usually go along with it and go do some hw

I don't procrastinate, I just have a pretty good idea of how long a certain assignment is going to take, and I don't start it until I have that amount of time until it's due. Sometimes it turns into all-nighters and it sucks, but I get the maximum amount of relaxing time. Some might call this procrastination, maybe it is, but it hasn't failed me yet, and I'm gonna be a junior in college once school starts in a couple weeks.

GET OUT OF THE HABIT OF PROCRASTINATING, YOU WILL REGRET IT IN COLLEGE:

I procrastinated a lot for the last year of high school because I had already gotten into my top choices (cornell and mcgill [claim]), so I slacked like a mafuka. Barely did ten minutes of homework every two days. Put together projects minutes before they were due. Stepped out of the last year with a 3.56 gpa. (claim). NEVER THE LESS. I started university a few weeks ago, and between checking my favorite porn sites and facebook, I'm about ten chapters behind in philosophy, and although I'm now basically caught up in my classes (I got behind after a serious weekend of partying (thanks IF3 and a hot girl who kept me up real late and a k'naan concert...[claim]), I was almost in the shitter. Get your stuff straight forealio. Just keep reminding yourself the other shit isn't important.

dang that was alot of claiming.  It's true though, I'm a terrible procrastinator and its terrible but i keep doing it anyway.. I'm doing it right now instead of studying for physics exam tomorrow.  I think i'll stop procrastinating sometime this year maybe
