How long should skis be

i mean this in the sense of how high up on you, not how long in cm compared to your height.

something like mid forehead or eyes would be an example.

also keep in mind that differing weights could potentially change the length of the ski too.

once you get to a certain skill level it's all about personal preference and what the ski is being used for... BUT before you reach that point I'm going to say middle of forehead the tips should reach? Something like that.

beginner (nOOb) -to the chin
intermediate -mid face
PPPRRRROOOO to the forehead and up

at least that's what i think . but everyone nowadays has gotten into this big ski craze and now the newbs are making threads about the first park ski and everyone's saying 169+ sizes. Its really about how a aggressive skier you are. I actually have been skiing longer skis and i actually find them easier to do rails. So its a really confusing topic so when buying skis, take in the fact of height, weight, terrain, skill level, and how aggressive you are as a skier
