they changed the rules because of this kid because they would just switch back and forth all day. Now you can only change once i think or somethin after you first step into the box. He doesn't have exceptional stuff with either arm, he doesn't throw crazy hard either he's more just an ambidextrous freak. His glove is rediculous looking it's made for either hand. He'll never make it to the majors.
I wish my parents had trained me from a young age to use to left and right hands with everything.
I've been trying to teach myself how to throw a football with my left hand (i'm right handed), and i'm definately getting better.... but my left still looks like a girl throw.
thanks dad but im not a kid...ive seen this guy throw a few years ago when he was at creighton and follow baseball and that's my opinion on it. im impressed at his ability but realistically even having that many pitches doesn't mean you can beat hitters on a high level...when you top out at 88-90 you need to have some filthy other stuff, which he doesnt...still cool to watch
Does anyone remeber Greg Harris. He did the same thing in the late 80's early 90's. He also played for both the Red sox and The yankees, and had the same style 6 fingered glove. Im pretty sure that once you throw a pitch with one hand you need to continue to pitch to that batter with the same hand. Just like a switch hitter, if you see a pitch from the right side you have to stay on that side for the rest of the at bat.
