yea i suppose as he said it is down to your own augmentation of expectations after seeing a new vast choice.
but in the ski industry i think it's possible to say there's too much choice but i personally don't think that there is too much. for example, there are A LOT of all mountain and park pipe skis out there. they are mostly pretty good, and mostly the difference in performance, however discernable, will be quite minimal. so if you cant decide between them on performance then it graphics and if not that there's choice of brand loyalty. either way the decision on choice shouldn't be too difficult. and with particularly large purchases such as skis, parting with big moneyz is always hard, so that would add to indecision which is autonomous to the size of available selection and mustn't be confused with choice indecision.
with after purchase regret this is hard to quantify as it depends on what review you read what your buddies tell you and what you feel. all of which you can't control. so you just have to tuck in and be happy with what you have bought. because as a part of human nature you'll always want what you perceive to be the next best thing even if it is not.
wow this thread is getting serious
