Saga outerwear- not great service

ok so i ordered a saga tee on july 19th. after about 2 weeks had passed, it sill hadnt arrived. i emailed them, just to check on the status of the order. no answer. the third week passed and it still didnt come, so i emailed them again, and no answer. its now been a month since i ordered and it still hasnt come. whats going on? theyve been updating their site and everything so its not like they arent around... they dont respond to any of my emails. i just want my shirt to come at this point, and i know this happened to people last year with their outerwear. does anyone know whats going on, or is this happening to anyone else?

Shit man, I dont know whats up, but thats good to know. Unless it gets cleared up and theyve got a damn good excuse for it, Ill remember this

i hate threads like these.

i ordered my shirt and immediately got a active tracking number as it shipped the very next day. it then showed up the next week at my door step.

ive never gotten a tracking number from saga so im not sure why they gave you one. and i clearly said im not hating on saga, i just want my shit its been a month.

yea you never know maybe something good will come out of it.  for anyone reading this, im NOT trying to give saga a bad name. theyre a sick company and rarely make mistakes like this. i'll just keep being patient and see what happens.

haha same. they event sent me two stickers when i was only expecting one! and a handwritten note saying thanks for the support. saga is a winner in my book. i'm sure it was just an honest mistake

my experience with them was .. to be honest terrible.
pants ripped first day riding, so they said theyd fix/replace, took two weeks to email me back with address
then after that around two weeks once they were shipped , they gave me no notification, had to call to figure out what was up, took around 6 weeks total maybe more to get my pants there and back.
but they did gimme like 3 stickers cool i guess

i have had nothing but awesome experiences with saga... i own three outerwear pieces and love them all.

have you tried calling??? that is how i communicated with them and they were either quick to answer or quick to respond to my calls.

so yes nothing but great experiences dealing with saga and would definitely recommend. i've dealt with a bunch of companies from working at a shop and saga was one of the most pleasant to deal with for sure.

#1 most important facet of a merchandise company is customer satisfaction.  I don't care how much a company is run by "bros" or chill guys or what kind of product they make, not answering e-mails is like the little kid who doesn't come out of the closet when his parents are angrily calling for him.  The first time he e-mailed Saga should have responded quickly with a "I'm sorry about the delay, we will check on that and get your T-shirt out ASAP or refund you".  Ignoring e-mails just isn't professional, even if they aren't doing it on purpose. 

However, I think a thread should be taken with a grain of salt.  Don't assume one person's experience is the norm for a company.  But it does seem from a few stories that they need to higher some administrative help.

i think its odd that when Getboards or some other online source has problems with responding and shipping all the sudden there a terrible company and everyone says don't buy from them, but i've seen just as many problems with Saga responding to e mails and fixing problems and it gets called an 'honest mistake' by some? whats the deal.

Fairly poor customer service.  Called multiple times, never got a call back, contacted them on here and finally got a good reply.  If I was not on NS, I would have been royally fucked though.  Before you expand, fix the service, then expand.

where have you been? they've had three seasons of outerwear and the earliest theyve ever gotten it out is mid january after promissing early november...for 3 seasons in a row? come on now, i know they're trendy and have some decent looking product, but its pretty well established that they are not reliable.

ya because good companies don't respond to emails and neglect to ship out orders. The rest of the world calls it theft, but on newschoolers.com it makes you a good company.

What happened to me.
I really hope a company like Saga doesn't fuck up again this winter and ship everything out 2 months late/ not respond to customers e-mails. When they post on their website "Thanks for all the support/sticking with us" and all that stuff it just kinda makes me mad that they have messed up so many times, and saying 'thanks for sticking with Saga" or whatever they're saying makes up for it( I hope they don't think that).  I'm just really curious as to how they will handle this fall(hoodie hype?)/winter.

saga saw this thread and emailed me. it was just a mistake, they accidentally sold out of that shirt. so im picking a new shirt and theyre mailing it today.

Its cool that they did that, but the people at Saga need to sack up and face the fact that their service has been sub par to many people.

I think its time for them to issue a statement that addresses these issues.

im not saying they are bad, but ot great either. good companies should not have this many "honest mistakes". its simply unnaceptable. customers deserve good customer support, and for their product to be shipped timely. i agree, they make very cool, unique stuff, but they seem a little flakey to me

saga just called me to make sure i received my package cause they got one back in the mail and couldnt read the address. to me that sounds like good service if they are taking the inititive.

my bad experience was with EC headwear. not hating, just, dissapointed.
I ordered a blue cap from their site in april. two weeks later, i received it, and they had send a brown cap.
Its a common mistake i guess. i pm mattyb. after a week i got a reply saying

Sorry about the mistake, what is you address and I'll get another one out to you ASAP.

sadly, a month passed and i never received it. i pm'd mattyb again, and he replied

I will attempt again to ship you the item. I am sorry for the confusion, and I will send a pair of shades as well. Sorry man.

this is two month old, and i still havent got my cap. i just gave up. i'm wearing the brown one and i'm happy, just dissapointed

I ordered some gloves from them and after waiting for like a month I emailed him and he said they were out of stock. I got my money back but it was frustrating. Im not hating on EC though I think they are a dope company and we should support them.

I'm all over Saga.... they rock my world - i've heard of some small shipping probs before with slow stuff etc - but i'd just chill.... it'll all get sorted, they're super cool folk who won't be out to do you a dis-service....  it'll all be right soon....

Give them a call.....  Email's don't always get read.....

I got the same problem as you in the past 3 weeks... but I've e-mailed them a bunch of time and I got a answer and they ship my package the next day and one week later, I got it on the mail...

so PM Saga. here on NS and e-mail them a couple of time!!

but this is bad to heard some things like that... I don't know if i'm gonna take some 09/10 pants due to their poor customers service..
