Who Lives in Denver,CO

Okay, so my sister lives in Denver and I am about to be a Junior in high school. I have the option to move out there and finish up my 2 years of high school. I just dont want to move out there and know anyone. Who lives in Denver and if you do what high school do you go too?

Any thoughts of moving?

Do it pussy. It is DENVER. Think of all the skiing. And you would need to be really really anti-social to be worrying about knowing someone beforehand and not having friends.

if so... you will make plenty of friends.

I fucking wish i could have moved to denver for my last two years. in fact I actually asked my dad repeatedly to move to boulder for the last two years.

Dude, in one week I'm packing up everything I own, leaving all my friends, and moving to Salt Lake City. I know exactly 2 people out there. I just told my job yesterday that I'm done in a week. There's some things in life that you just have to man up and go for it. This is one of those things.

Think of what's scarier..... moving to a super awesome place where you could have the time of your life

Waking up one day when you're 40, and saying "damn, wish I would have done that when I had the chance"

Dude, it's Colorado! Moving to a new place and leaving your friends can be a scary thought, but in time you always meet new people and will have a new place to call home. It will be an awesome experience, go for it!

I remember reading something like every x number of years, I think it was 5 or 6, you replace something like 80% of your friends. And honestly, you're going to be moving to Denver, where you will be surrounded by a ton of like minded people interested in the same things as you. You will have no problems meeting anyone.

If i could move out west right now, I would do it in a heart beat. Sometimes the best things for us are a fresh start.

Unfortunately there is no snow here at all.  We get 10 inches a year and there is no nightlife.  Definitely don't move here.  Also, there are no good colleges in the whole state for when you finish high school.  There also aren't a huge amount of skiing companies based in the Denver area.  Don't move here, you would hate it.

the only issue with moving to denver for highschool, is denver public schools is one of the shittiest school systems in the country. You would be well advised to open enroll in a school in the suburbs and either drive or bus out ever morning.. never devalue your education.
but move out here. its a riot. wherabouts in denver does your sister live?

I've been out here in Denver for over two years and couldn't be happier. Such a dope place to live with TONS of skiing options. Once you get here, make sure to buy a Loveland Pass then take an avy 1 course, some gear, and enjoy some of the best snow in the country at Berthoud Pass.

I live in Woodland which is about an hour away from denver... and you REALLY need to move out there you got echo and shit right there and keystone is only about an hour drive.. anyways everyone in colorado kicks ASS so do it... now

Go for it, I would so do that if I was in your position.  I would just say fuck you to all my friends and move out there and basically rub it in their face.  Haha, jokes, but definitely do it.  Like someone else said, when you are 40 you will be wishing you had lived there when you had the chance.  Do it dude, you have nothing to loose.
