1) Who gives a shit about Megan?  She's a 'reality star' aka a reject from another one of VH1s crappy dating shows.  Who cares?

Agree, has to be the stupidest shit ever.  But the commercial where the guy makes her laugh and she splashes champagne in her eyes, might be the funniest thing ever.
Agree though, the shows now a days are so lame, I feel like I could think of the most mindless, shallow, uncreative bull and sell it to one of these channels as a new reality TV show.

there is also another one coming out for fat people, it's called "more to love". fucking stupid in my opinion, but i'm probably one of the few chicks that don't watch these shows.

why do they have to separate between fat and thin? pretty and ugly? they should just do one where they throw in a mix of all types, and then call it a social experiment. but then again, i still wouldn't watch it.

Because skinny has always been beautiful. Well in modern time for sure. I think they liked girls with some chub back in the days of kings and queens.

But why not make a show about fat people falling in love? 1/3 of Americans are said to be overweight. Why would they want to see a show where skinny people fall in love. The media recognizes this and put out something that a different demographic would enjoy.

Personally I feel obesity is a far greater problem for society than drug abuse, prostitution, homosexuality, or any other "public scourge" the religious right like to quote.

Not bigger than drug abuse, but it is a huge problem that needs to be addressed because the obesity rate keeps climbing. 

Anyone who says that homosexuality is a problem for society needs to be taken into an alley and beat senseless.  (I'm not talking about you bc I know you're saying that the religious right wing like to use it, so I assume you're not a religious right-winger)

Yeah I'm about the closest thing you can get to a gay, straight man. In that I mean people have asked if I'm gay since I support them so much and will always argue in their favor. It really seems like every day I have to just call someone outright stupid and bigoted for some of the things they say.

And yeah, cannabis "abuse" is a joke.  It's much less detrimental to your health and much less addictive than alcohol or tobacco, yet the latter two are legal.  It's backwards.  But I would still say that the spread of meth, cocaine, heroine, and things like that is a more serious problem than obesity, though obesity is a very serious problem.
