its alright, started out very nice. but if i were you i would set up at each feature and film for a while, instead of like trying to film everything from one spot, which is what it looked like. that way, youll get less shots, but the ones youll have will be a lot better, rather than a lot of 'meh' shots. also you should work on either jacking your colors on camera or in post, or turn them down. try to find that unique color setting, it will make the video a lot more interesting than very realistic colors.
True, but when you are hired to film a competition they are definitely more focused on the riding aspects and not missing sick shots then getting different angles. I completely understand what your saying but its just not possible to do so in a jam form competition when all pro riders are riding simultaneously. So that is the reason for repetitive angles. We have another version which is on dvd for shop promos which has all been color corrected, we needed to hve basic video for promotions company to approve etc. so this was complete in just under two days.
oh yea i gotcha as far as the color goes. but when i film jams and comps, i usually goes feature to feature. but i understand that from the client's point of view, the filming isnt as important, so i see what youre saying
