Broken ipods

ive got three broken ipods that i've accumulated throughout the years. does anybody know what i can do with them cause some part of me doesn't want to just throw them away. is there any way i could make some $$ off them?

What gen are the ipods, if they are old your not going to get much except for the LCD or the hard drive but even then, the hard drives on the old ones are small.  You probably wont make much money off of it.

go to or send apple your old ipods and let them recycle them, you get like 20% back or something, just put it towards a new one.

i know a kid that has a website selling refurbished ipods.  he's been doing really well with it.  i'm pretty sure he'd buy broken ipods, but check it out and maybe shoot him an email if you're interested.

or put different parts from each ipod and make one really REALLY big super duper ipod. itd be cool
