SPK Kaos

I have a narrowish foot...but my friend is offering me his 27.5 SPK kaos. I know they're made for wider feet but...what would be the consequence of a narrow footed skiier riding those boots. I also wear  a 9.5 shoe size and im still growing. Ive tried them on and walked around in them for about 2 hours and they felt pretty good.

If they are your friends can't you just try them on?  It's going to be impossible for us to tell you how they will fit, all feet are unique.

take out the liner and put your foot into the shell. you should be able to fit about 2 fingers in the back of the heel i believe.

When you have them on make sure your heel doesnt lift out even when your trying to get them to lift out if that makes sense.

What are the consequences of a boot thats too wide? And....what  can I do to make it thinner if I have too.

Yes. Your toes should only slightly touch the end of the boot when you knock the heel of the boot on the ground. You want to make sure that your toes aren't cramped, but also that they don't have too much space.
