Finding People at Your Home Mountain

I searchbarred and couldn't find anything.

I think it would be cool to have a tab on NS where you can find people that ride your mountain. I know it's on the profile page but that can take a long time finding out who skis where.

Or NS makes a thread with all the members and where they ride, like:

Park City
member names

Whistler
member names

well i agree and disagree with you. do you find it hard to be social on a ski mountain? I've made some really good friends through skiing, and just saying hello and took some laps or whatever. I don't know if i think a 'hi i met you over the internet tool' is something i would use, but i support the idea.

I like this idea except i'd rather meet people at the mountain and not through the internet but it doesnt really matter.

look for people skiing
look for ns stickers on their gear
confront them

or post in regionals about them if your shy
how do you not know all the nsers at your mountain already?

just talk with people on the lift. I've taken laps with random ns'rs a couple times when I was lapping the park (which isnt that usual)

iono dude... i'm in there all the time, and its pretty much confined to tahoe kids, and a few socal skiers. The only ones from the EC, and the MW are all just dropping in to say 'hey i'm going to be coming out! hows the snow" or something along those lines.

cali forums pretty legit.

I think internet should not take the place of our youth's abiltiy to socialize. It would be real cool if it was involved in the video section so you could see all the videos of the kids you ski in the winter with but dont talk to over summer. keep tabs kinda.
