Montana may be able to create its first legitimate park. As many of you have probably already read in my previous thread (https://newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/468323/) Big Sky Resort's Park is in danger of being eliminated! Boyne is making cuts and believe the park is of least importance to its budget.

I don't mean to take up to much of your time or make people mad by posting too many threads, but all I am looking for is 1-2 minutes. If everyone here on NS could head over to the petition I made and sign your name/email, it would seriously make the world of difference! I know most of you would love to help and this is exactly why I love NS.

well  last year we had to parks on different lifts. one mini park and one big.. they are trying to turn it into just one mini park which we dont want so i odnt think that would work. maybe if they just made one big park then ya.

i have skied and lived in montana for my whole life and having a terrain park that is somewhat legitimate is always something that i have wanted for my state, this thread really does show the character of the ski community here on NS,

Ski Industry Factoid:  Eliminate park and get branded as a "Non Family Friendly"  Resort.  Bad for biz.  The parents have the wallet, but, if the kids think the resort sucks, the family will not come back next season.

Hey guys,
just wanted to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who has signed this petition. I had a meeting with the Mountain Manager and Marketing Director a few weeks ago in order to brainstorm, find out more about their situation and discuss the future of Big Sky Park.

So no need to sign the petition anymore. I printed out the copy and handed it over to them, so they know exactly how many people support this. From here on out all we can do is hope for the best and pray that Big Sky and its management come to realize that freestyle skiing is a IMPORTANT & INFLUENTIAL culture.

Thanks again to all who helped! I really appreciate it.
