Dude, so there with you. Taking Back Sunday has stolen my black charred tear stained heart. Fall Out Boy is just the best thing to hit the airwaves since Nirvana. My Chemical Romance is the soundtrack I cry myself to sleep at night with. Dude, how have we not talked about this before, their music is SOOOOOO good.

You're right, im not straight edge, never said i was. But im pretty sure that I'm not way off. Gorilla Biscuits is most surely hardcore. Same with the rest i listed. I guess dead radical falls more into the power violence/fastcore genre though.

I thought grindcore was when you get a bunch of talentless musicians and a crank addicted drummer together, and all it sounds like is unintelligible guitar and vocals, no bass, and 1/64th classic blast beats.

I didnt catch that i guess. But yeah, there is a big diff between hardcore and grind. But im not a fan of much grind but the dudes that play it can be quite damn talented.

Meh... most of their stuff is more crust punk/ska punk. This is a sick song though..




Other than the bands listed (most of you guys have no clue what hardcore is but a few in here do) I would like to add a few lesser known bands;

Hit The Deck, horrible quality.. I do however own 2 of their cds and a vinyl of theirs.

Word. Have you ever heard of Body Bag the ska-core band from the mid 90s? They were so raw and brutal and had so many sick ska break downs and so many horns during the fast and aggressive parts.

no i haven't but i shall do some searching. have you ever heard of no cash? i'm pretty sure their album was produced by stza or something like that. they are kinda like a more younger more raw choking victim. unfortunately they had a messy breakup and wont be getting back together :( btw 500 channels is a sick song to ski to

okay so 9/10 of the people are saying that between the buried and me is hardcore and atreyu? not even close at all to hardcore. hardcore is completely different. here are some good actual hardcore band... not metal and screaming. Sabertooth Zombie, Have Heart, Verse, Trapped Under Ice, Cold World, Floorpunch, Blacklisted, Inside out, Bad Brains, Betrayed, Trash Talk
