Rumors are starting to circulate about Tom riding for Scott skis. The truth is that Tom is now riding for Burton. The reason to him riding Scott skis is that Burton and Scott have had a long term company relationship. To keep the "hype" down to a minimum, Scott offered up their graphics to conceal the fact that he is indeed riding the first ever Burton prototype skis. Tom has been reported saying,

"I'm stoked to be riding for this great company (Burton)! I know how much they've supported and done for snowboarding and I can imagine that they will do the same for skiing."

The new Burton skis called the, hyphy sticks (a working title), are due to be on display at SIA 2010 in Boulder, Co.

i take back everything i have said previously, looks like it could be true

sources say steve stepp is also in contact with burton reps about joining a 2010 burton international ski team

I rode the lift with wallisch in Laax when he was out there for the Euro open, I asked him about his skis as they didn't look like amplid's he said they were a prototype for Scott and that he was going to be changing sponsors soon. Also some friends of mine that snowboard asked me about Tom as his profile was on the Burton website where rookley got that photo from..

If it's pathetic how people care so much what Tom skis, then why do you keep posting up fake stuff just trying to be funny, and advocating these people more? It's stupid. Burton would never even bother making skis.
They make enough money as it is
Plus they INVENTED the SNOWBOARD as an alternative to skiing.
So ask yourselves why would they ever start making skis. There's no money in it.

that is most definitly photoshopped look at the edges those are most definitly the AMPLID TOWNSHIPS underneath that photoshop. and the shirt most likely wallisch was just rockin a plain white tall tee and he photoshopped the burton on there

haha yea when i first read this i was thinking that soon enough well end up with "tom wallisch super duper legit awesome skiing game" or something.

i can see why people think that wallisch (and maybe henrik?) shouldn't be signed to burton because of some sellout shit, but they're famous enough already, i don't think whoever sponsors them will change anything about them or their skiing, because im sure they could get pretty much any sponsor they wanted.
