I have SPK's and they are glorified rental boots they're made of cheap materials which is why they pack out so much. The people who actually like SPK's are people who've never ridden another true performance boot. SPK's are a joke. What boot/boots have you ridden before you got SPK's. Also, if they feel like sneakers when you put them on it means the boot is too big and will not perform the way a ski boot is supposed to. If you have a wide foot maybe the SPK's will work for you but don't buy them because they look cool and have 2 buckles. It doesn't make them any more flexible it just makes it more convenient to adjust how tight your boots are.
And honestly I could care if you buy those boots. I wouldn't do it but its not my money being spent. So go ahead spend your money on a product that has ben cheaply made. I don't give a shit. I'm just trying to help.
