A friend told me there is one mountain in Japan where they have monkeys.  They live in the trees right next to the ski runs.  They tell you not to stare at them because they take it as a challenge.  So my buddy stared at one and the thing jumped out of the tree and chased him down the run.  It almost caught him.  I know, "Picks or it didn't happen".  I heard it from other guys who were with him and I am sure they weren't making it up.
