I have been in 7 car wrecks.

I have been driving for 2 of them.


all were uber Gnar


I dont have time to make good stories now, but i will return to this thread and deliver all 7 stories.

So this was the most recent -

I was at a party with my friend in whistler and it was snowing, but my skis were in Pemberton, where I live, and I wanted to have them for morning. I waited until i waqs somewhat sober around 3 am, and was driving home( without my friend in the car)

and there were some bumps in the road that, at my exact speed, added together which lifted the car up a little bit and the slush got under the tires, and turned the car into the snowbank instantly. I fled the scene, flagged down a snow plow, and in the morning we reported it stolen.

Turns out  he didnt have nsurance, it was totalled, and I had to give him my 88 Maxima to take to Alaska with his friends from Japan.

Good thing he liked nissans!

no injuries, but a definate close call, lots of boulders and shit close by.

I'm a pretty safe winter driver, I don't mess around then.

I'm not The Stig, but I have successfully avoided any summertime crashes.

That's a grand total of zero, but I have only driven for 3-4 years.

do you wear any gear when you get in the car now? like a helmet or knee pads? but seriously do you ever get nervous getting into a car or is being in car crashes fun or something cuz i have never been in one.

I've been in one bad wreck. Got hit head on.  We were doing 45 and a guy was coming down the mountain too fast.  Someone in front of him stopped and he didnt have time to, so he came into our lane.It cracked the engine block and bent the frame almost to the ground.  It was crazy.  I actually didn't get hurt too bad though.

Ive been in two, both of which I was driving.

1st one was coming back from skiing in my moms 2001 Suburban. I was gonna stop at this dudes house to take a look at his 73 charger he had for sale. I ended up taking the turn to his driveway too fast (35 mph) and slid all the way through into the ditch in front of his house. The whole car was pretty much buried up to the windows so we dug the car out and asked the guy to pull us out with his Bronco...no dice, the Ford failed. We then got pulled out by a Yukon and I had to drive home with no power steering...not fun. But the front end wasnt damaged at all, it was a fucking tank.

Second was a stop sign with my 1999 S10. We got hit with a freak snowstorm one night with really wet snow, and the whole city was having problems with traction. Unless you had chains or 4wd, you were going nowhere. I came up over a hill and had my brakes on to stop and slid across the intersection at about 5mph, jumped the curb and layed the sign flat. I backed off it and drove away haha.

i rear ended a cab going about 3 mph in nyc. i bent my license plate
there was no damage to his car

that's the worst that's happened to me so far, i really hope to keep it that way

on the way to mt snow this winter, car had performance tires on it. We started fishtailing on this hill and i tried to regain controll, we then fishtailed the other way so i spun the wheel again. Then we did a 180, and slid backwards down the hill for about 30 feet right into a guardrail. The crash itself wasnt bad but one foot to our left was a drop off into trees. Car was totalled though, I loved that car too.

naw, gear just gets in the way. YOu cant plan for a crash, they happen when u least expect it (.. well mostly unexpected)


Some of the crashes were super cool, Like the 40 foot gap to rail slide in a sunbird (old pontiac)

iv been in three real crashes i was driving in all three, totaled one jeep, and i backed into my dads jeep and backed in to the side of my garage, but thouse two dont count as real crashes.

i've never been in a real accident. i did ditch my old legacy like 4-5 times for various reasons but all of them i just straight backed out off. and then i was on my way to ski practice and we were doing like 45 down a small windy park entrance  road nose to bumper with three of us. then we all slowed down like 40 mph so we were crawling and i looked in my rear view mirror and at the exact second i looked there the person in front of my stopped dead so i bent my hood and broke my head light. i just cracked a small bumper of his. my car was a junker though so i just pouned on my car hood with a rubber mallet and taped my headlight back together.

needless to say clearly i was injured. my first accident i had internal trauma like lacerations to my liver and kidney, cracked ribs, fractured wrist, terrible whiplash to my neck and back, and needed stitches in a few places, but nothing was that serious so i didn't need surgery but i was in the hospital for a few days. my second accident i was just bruised and cut and cracked ribs but i was okay. both times i realize how extremely lucky i was. i swear i am actually a good driver, neither accident was my fault.

yeah but at the time my family and i couldn't handle dealing with a lawsuit and we were given a good settlement through the station and insurance, basically paid off but it worked.

one and only of my self driving was fairly uneventful.

i was about to sell my car for mabye 1500, just put up a listing, ect...

2 days later, sitting at a redlight, the right turn lane gets an arrow, the guy behind me thought we got a green light to go straight. we didnt. he was slowing down, then sped up adn hit me at about 30ish. totaled my car, he actually drove under my car a little cause his had such a slanted nose.

i got 3.8k from insurance haha, so then i upgraded my whip situation for litttle to no money. shit sometimes works out for the best, even though it dosent seem it at the time.

the damage looks minor, but the frame was wicked bent, and the body panels had weird waves in it from bending to the right.

i slid into a tree at prolly 10 or 15 because there was 8 inches of snow on the ground and i had summer performance tires on. there is a tiny crack in the bumper and you basically cant even tell unless you REALLY look. I LOVE my Subaru :D :D :D

I was driving back to sparwood in southern bc and it was the end of august. it ws just lightly raining then just busted out into a crazy sleet storm, anyways, i hydroplaned and went into the ditch at about 100km/h downhill and somehow just drove through the ditch a bit and popped out back on the road and just kept driving about 50 meters before a valley that would have owned my shit. So lucky, and no car damage at all which was really weird.

iv been in a few. i my self crashed my moms car when i was young and stupid.
crashed with  my friend drivign to school.... he told me his car was a race car and it had no seatbealts and i was liek o god .... so a few min later we crashed going 80 but i ended up totaly fine. very lucky.


i live in vt and there are a shit load of anmials that want to die on the road.

iv hit a dear going 40 it flipped over  my car and ate shit behind me. did no dammage

i hit a owl the other night and it totaly got slayed feathers everywhere.

but the most intense was that i hit a bear a month or 2 ago. i was going liek 75 on this back road and it jsut ran out at my car and i clipped it . didnt crash my car but it was sooo intense i thought i had totaled my car but the sabb is a fucking tank.

it broke the front light and messed up the alingment. o well time for a new car
