Making Websites..

How do you go about making a website like this? I'm interested in learning so that I can make my own photography website. I think this is adobe flash but I'm not sure any help appreciated.

dreamweaver isnt to bad and there are some plug ins like light box and simple view or some shit for viewing photos... not sure how to get that particular site...

If you're just starting I'd go with dreamweaver as it's easier to learn and can still throw out some great results. Flash can put out some top of the range stuff but takes quite a long time to master how to use it, then it's actually creating the thing. I'd advise you to go with a dreamweaver one then start learning flash, then when you're ready you can prehaps upgrade to a flash one.

listen to this man,  960 gs is a great way to approach layouts.  when you have a layout just use a lightbox, its gonna be a shitload easier that you trying to learn flash.  http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/
