Are the afterbangs replacing the invader?

i was looking through the SIA pictures and didnt see some invaders. Is lines new ski the afterbang replacing the invader?

NOOOOOO i love the invaders. What does the afterbang bring thats new? does it have butter zones or any of the old features of LINE skis?

ya it has butterzones, the main difference is the build up. the afterbang has a "skateboard" build up. from what i heard the afterbangs are very durable. their butterzones are a little closer to the binding, for better control. yes they are replacing the invader.

Actually.... The Afterbang is replacing the "jib park ski" of the invader, but the mastermind is replacing the price point ski and is an all-mountain ski.

^this guy is right.  Masterminds are an all mtn twin, kind of a chronic with a bit more sidecut and w/cap construction(so probably a bit softer)

i think the mastermind is a horrible move for line. they have no need for it except to offer an affordable ski. this is complete crap people can just buy their 09 models for rediculously cheaper than mastermind and get a better ski. e.g. chronics for 200 anthems for 250 or invaders for 150.

Actually my brother was talking to Max Hill and he said that there actually is going to be new 2010 invaders but they are going to be like a special offer kind of thing. You can buy each ski separately. 100 bucks per ski I think he said.

i had them for two weeks last season and enjoyed them. i bought a pair yesterday from a local shop. some friends of mine tried them as well and weren't too fond of them. i tried them and loved them. it'll be interesting to see how they do this year.
