13 inch macbook vs. 13 inch macbook pro

the 13 inch macbook pro is 1099


is the only difference that ur paying 200 more for aluminum?



(yes i know about the college discounts, just trying to see if there are any more differences)

I just ordered the 13" pro.  it has the sdhc compatible slot as well. nice if you have cams with that card.

my friend had to make the same choice and he went with the pro which is such a bomb ass computer and completely worth the extra 200

I am a little pissed that apple just discontinued the aluminum macbook. I wish they would give me a discount if I sent mine back to them and they could give me the 13" MBP for and extra 400 dollars. Even though I'd be losing money cause I got my MB aluminum the second day it came out and I payed $1700 for mine. and now they have a MBP for $1099?! Thats ridiculous!

Get the pro. I've owned the white plastic one and both aluminum 13 inch computers apple has made, the pro is worth the extra cash hands down.

Definitely go pro. nomensteven pretty much covered it, but:

Solid unibody aluminum construction
Thinner and Lighter
Faster RAM (DDR3 vs. DDR2)
Better processor
Multi-touch trackpad
7 hours of battery life (which is ridiculous)
Illuminated keyboard
SD Card slot
LED Display

For $200 I'd say it's definitely worth it.

yo my rents bought me a 13 pro wit free itouch!!!!! fo college nxt year and these two items have become my summa girlsfriends. go pro 200$ ovrpirced but still well spent.... thier jus amazing machines i seriously donate at least 5 hours a day on this thang jus because i love it so get applecare if you can afford my dads an expert statiticain and claims apple drives can be flaky so if you wanna edit evah or produce and shit they can easily cook themselves to death too cause they so small... so good purchase. my sissy macbook fried after only like two years of light use too... soo g o PRO HO youll be lovin life....
