Phone calling people?

my phone, rumor from sprint, called everyone on my contact list and then they all called me back and no one was answering, i texted some of them and said they didnt call me back but i called them, i took the battery out of my phone so the calling would stop hopefully, some said it called them multiple times, i dont know what to do
has anyone else had this happen to them, its really weird
