I have been freeskiing for two yars or sooo, and i tried spinning last year and did alright i could spin 3s and 5s and 1s. Now ever time i try a 3 i do the first 180 fine but when i turn to stomp the rest of the body i get all corked and eat shit. It sucks cuz it hurts like hell and i hav eaten shit sooo many times but the weird thing is i can rotate 5s sometimes fien and 1s are perfect but 3s really fuck me up... any ideas?

no, your going all corked with your spin, think about it, when you spin a 5 and lean back into a cork your gonna land leaning back
but when you do a five your body will be set = to the tranny.

ya, wider stance, relax, then as you get more comfortable ski it how you want. You're scared of it cause you've ate shit on it so many times so when you set for it you fuck up before you even do it. Start small and work you way back up and you'll be fine. 3's are hardly a spin, you just look into it and you'll come around, no reason to go corked unless you're really throwing into it too much

dont look down when you spinning. kepp your arms bent at 90 degress and infront of your head straight. use it as a triangle and you wont go corked. you only hafta do this for a while then you'll get the hang of it again and you can go back to doin spins with grabs and tweakin shit. you just got to get you balance right.

I was having the same problem last week. I was thinking about it too much and trying to throw myself around too hard. I would always land right on my back. Now I just chill, dont really thing about it, and let the spin come around, dont force it.

one time i was just doin a 9 and at 540 it went corked out as shit and i stopped rotating for some reason and i landed corked out at 540 and almost tore my acl

this is really helpful. I was doing 3s fine for a couple days and then I started landing all in the back seat and now I cant land em at all. I think I'm hucking them. Like the first couple of times I did them I just went like to do a 180 and kept looking around and just landed. I gotta try that tomorrow

yea but man a 3 is alot different than a 7 or a 9.. u can get put off balance alot easier o yea man and on 3's just dont even think about doin them just spin em and ull do it just fine

work on making sure your shins are on the front of your boots when you take off. this will gradually float you to the point where your skis are parallel to the landing. i had the same problem learning 3s

i did the same thing going for a 7 but threw it all corked and shit and landed 5 but my knee's were fine. try to spot your landing before throwing your spin off the jump, then when you come around you know where to look, and you get your spin all smooth and shit
