How hard is it to bring alcohol on an airplane?

I've been researching the subject, because i will be taking an airplane ride next week.  I plan to bring like 3 of those mini bottle you can get, the contain like 2 shots maybe 3.

my research turned up that you can bring bottles containing 3.5 oz's if they are in a sealed ziplock bag type thing.

I'll be hella stoked if this works, a nice buzz all day while chillin during layovers would be relaxing.

thoughts? will my mission be succesful?

dont think you could bring on enough to get a good buzz. best bet is to drink right before you go through customs

Anyways, if you're going to risk it, wash out a bottle of shampoo or body wash and throw it in there. Not sure if they check those anymore, I haven't flown in awhile.

It would be more intresting to see if you could sneak an entire nother person on the plane with you

if you get too drunk they will kick you off the plane, and buying it once you are through security will only work if you are flying on an international flight, cause at YVR there are no places to buy booze on national flights once you pass security

Well your could stuff as many of those 1.5oz bottles into a 1 gallon zip lock bag. That would be quite a few of those shots, You would get pretty fucked Id imagine. I dont know if they would let you though cause Im guessing you arent 21.

how many ounces are those small poland springs water bottles?  If they are small enough just bring one or two of them, no security is gunna say anything about it.

Or I would drink heavily before going through security.  You won't be drunk through security if you drink literally right before you go through it.

Dude they have liquids on LOCKDOWN. They don't allow over 3 fluid ounces of contact lense solution, yet alone a pint of vodka. If under 21, well...you in an airport full of fucking police, or people who can report you to the police, so be careful and drink it in say a bathroom stall unless you want to be out in the open with that shit.

If you are 21 or above....airports have tons of bars, and you can be trashed as shit and fly they don't care. Just don't be a bad drunk or your ass isn't getting 10ft off the ground.

did you guys hear about that polish guy a couple of years ago that was going through customs, and they told him he couldn't bring this half gallon of really nice vodka back from russia to the US or some shit, and he just chugs it at the checking table, then passes the fuck out and they have to take him to the hospital?

stupid customs agents, that'll show them

totally the way to go.  i flew from newark , new jersey to steamboat colorado this past winter... got up at 5 with the crew i was going with... shots of captain... subway to the airport while drinking bottles of mt dew and rum... literally downing the bottle right before the security check and then just chewing gum.  then again we were 21 so we bought a beer or two on the flight.  but really, get buzzed beforehand, and just make a few hats on the flight and layovers man.  you'll be there sooner than you think.

dude they will land the plane if you're causing too much of a disturbance.
they did it to some model 'cause she was causing a disturbacne.  the best part about that was that they landed in fucking Happpy Valley -Goose Bay  Laborador.  such a slap in the face.

the conveyer belt when you put your bag on it is what finds liquids. So what you do is walk through the metal detector with it in you pocket or under your shirt. The metal detector will not register it and so as long as security dont suspect you will be fine. This worked with me earlier today. The security guys at heathrow do not pay much attention unless the metal detector sounds or there is something in somebody's bag so it is easy. If it is a big bottle then spilt it up.

Man i smoked a blunt and took some addy before my flight to north carolina, hadn't been on a flight in over 5 years so i was partially stoked and scared at the same time.  I friggin love flights, i'd hate to be drunk in a seat 30,000 feet in the air, the sun was just setting as we bursted through the clouds, it was quite magical.

haha, after going through security i got a big coffee and carried it right onto the plane. they make such a big deal over the seperate bottles in the ziplock but i walked right on with 24oz in a paper cup.

i guess its because i was already through security, so i guess if you shoulder tapped untill you got some booze you could put it in a paper cup and be good to go, not that i see any reason to so desperately need alcohol on a plane.

just smoke weed, or even better eat a treat as your going through security.  before my last flight to california from denver i smoked on the way to the airport, and ate a treat in security.  let me tell you, flying over the rocky mountains on a blue bird day was the most gorgeous travelling ever.  i was glued to the window, could pick out breck, vail, loveland, mushroom mountain and more

id just get high before hand. but on the subject, youd probbaly have better luck just nabbing a few nips from the cart once youre on the place. i did that spur of the moment a couple years ago and surprisingly it worked
