also im skiing in ohio 99% of the time, and in slush and small snow depths, and i need manueverablity, and its important that they arnt too long, i dont want skis over need length

armada measures their skis tip to tail. So if u put the ski on a table/bench & take a tape measure and go over the top - tip to tail u would get 181cm. This may help u compare to other ski brand measurements....
181 should be good. The AR6 has gone a bit lighter and most folks call it medium soft - but at 170lbs - u r on the light side. So if with ski boots etc...u get heavier....it should only get better. If u are athletic or aggressive skier than u r good. If u do big airs 181 - maybe if u want short park skis for spins and rails 176cm would hold your weight easy....for fresh snow & pow - 181's more float...
