I saw this on facebook and was like wtffff no way! Guess it's true, I was going to go into Boston with these guys too on that day.

With Saga sponsoring skaters, will snowboarders be far behind? I know this kid is a legit snowboarder, and Jordan Harper is good friends with him, so I'm kinda thinking they'll do stuff with him in the winter too. Whatever the case, it's still gonna be suuuuper weird seeing and hearing kids talk about Saga at my local park.

is he really sponsored by them? or just friends with 1 of the guys at saga? it wounldnt make sense for saga to sponsor skaters sense they dont need outerwear

Im not really a fan of this, saga in my mind is skier oriented if you see someone with a saga sticker on their car or there wearing a jacket or tee your know they ski. I want it to stay like that and not become something like dc or oakley who makes everything and sponsers everyone

they are networking maybe. you have facebook right? same concept. someone has steeze why not have them rep your gear.

the only companies that are "skier oriented" are companies that make only skis or ski bindings or ski poles, but you can use ski poles to go hiking in the summer. but thats very few companies because most are owned by a bigger company that owns other sports companies.

the fact that they make the best ski outerwear out there is not going to change because another sport is involved.

i think more what they meant was that there are very few companies that exclusively sponsor skiers with outerwear and is made and designed for skiers. Now that Saga is sponsoring skate boarders and snowboarders it's no longer an exclusive company that supports only skiers
Something like snowboarders getting pissed off because a smaller less known snowboard company decided to sponsor skiers instead of just snowboarders
What happens is more sports sponsored means more exposure which means more people buy saga but then it looses its exclusivity and becomes "played"

So i know people that skate high all the time and still shred (example). if he cant skate well when he's high then why do it if he cant perform up to the higher level?

why is everyone on NS whining little bitches?  why wouldnt you want snowboarders repping saga? they make a dope product, durable, warm and dry is what we all strive for when buying outerwear, so what the fuck is the big deal?   how many kids on this sight have worn some accessory to the mountain that was from one of the 15 companys that branch from burton in their life? probably a lot. and burton HATES skiers.

check this shit out, kids reps saga HARD, and he doesnt even ride for them, even though he should be.

i think it would be better for the sport of skiing to have some companies sponsor other action sports athletes.  Other sports like skateboarding get more coverage than skiing does, and it will all lead back to a small skiing company that started it.
