Summer jobs and what you do that money

so I'm working at a private lake by my house and making 14$ an hour. I save all my money to by ski shit (I'm getting magic pants) and to dive up to mount snow every weekend so I don't really spend any of it other then for skiing. I know there have been like 20 post about your jobs but what do you use the money for.

I dont have an official job but i mow lawns which can make almost 2,000 for the summer. I will also get one or two other jobs this summer. Im gunna spend it on a completely new assortment of ski shit, macbook, Windells for summer of '10 or flying to Utah or CO for my bday in january, and getting my car, and any of that other shit inbetween.

well i just spent my first bit of savings on a new pair of chronics. now im saving it and using it as gas money, ill probably by a new pair of binders towards fall and then a new suit near winter to even things out

working at menards this summer, saving up for the german trip next spring and also the 1969 GTO this guy has not far from here, if not then prolly a chevelle to fix up. And as always....gas

I am working at the NYSE - first summer job.

Getting paid $70 an hour and working 35 hours a week (depends on my boss though, for example, I had to go a pick him up at the airport with his driver at 5:30 am), so around $2,450 per week.

I also can "use" his driver and Rolls Royce Phantom:

Mow lots of lawns with my buddies. Usually make 10$ an hour, also do some landscaping.
Money goes to car and i want to buy a jetski or put it in savings.

Well I make chump change compared to what some of you guys make, $8 an hour. And I work as a computer support tech!

I save as much as possible for skiing (season passes aren't cheap), and investing in general. I am 23 (yeah I know old and I made shit wages). I am trying to save for a new car eventually also.

I will buy some clothes. Weekly I will buy weed, daily I will buy alcohol. I live right by the beach and have a sea-doo boat so I will spend probably $100 a week in gas between 2 cars and a boat.

Tubing quite often because it is cheaper than driving my boat around. Of course ya need to bring food and alcohol up to my cousins cabin on the river.

Girlfriends birthday is in the summer so gotta buy her a gift or two....

I hope to basically save my money as much as possible and not buy $3 gasoline.

Little things here and there, fathers day coming up, some new bike tubes. Maybe computer upgrades as needed. Life is all about spending money wisely, despite how much it looks like I waste it haha.

lifegaurding, i make 7.50 an hour, but im looking for two more jobs to take up the time im not lifeguarding

oh, and sometimes i go and help out at the hobby shop i used to work at, usually fixing other peoples r/c cars and working the register, its not the coolest job, but its so easy for me..... and its another $7.15 an hour
 
saving all my money so i can shred as much as possible this winter, and i want to be able save enough to get my every member of immediate family nice presents for every birthday/holiday for the whole next year


oh, and a shitton of gasoline, because my truck gets like 11mpg


i wish i could just wake up at like 7 or 8 every morning in the summer, and then work until 9-10 at night, i could make so much money and then just shred every single day in the winter and travel to comps and jams and other mountains and shit and not have to worry about money

I know a guy who works at Cedar Point. Kid gets like 50-80 hours a week.

He said its kind of a "ask for more hours, you got it" situation. Free park admission for him, exclusive employee ride nights, couple free passes he gets to sell also.

Pay is shit though.
