So i have a triangle

one side length is 3x

second is 5x+2

third is 7x-3

peremiter is 29 cm

what is the length of each side

Perimeter is 29 cm, and a triangle has 3 sides that you are given.  Add the sides, and those obviously are equal to the perimeter.  Solve for x.

3x+5x+2+7x-3 = 29
combine terms, solve for x
15x+(-1) = 29
15x = 30
x = 2
substitute
3(2) = 6
7(2)-3 = 11
5(2)+2 = 12
check
6 + 11 + 12 = 29
fin.

(3x)+(5x+2)+(7x-3)= 29
Solve for X (x=2)
then substitute the X value into each of the 3 sides
Side 1. 3(2)= 6
Side 2. 5(2)+2= 12
Side 3. 7(2)-3= 11

6+12+11= 29

All done!
