Most realistic skiing game I have seen to this date

Freat Out - Extreme Freeride
I know the title sounds gaperish but the game itself actually doesn't look bad
the guy who made the video is apparently a huge fan of backflip/frontflip mutes but you can do other tricks too, as well as off axis, just search it up on youtube

Yeah it's a fun game to play for like 15 minutes, wouldn't pay for it. Way too SSX'esque but if you like quintuple rodeo to d-spin 2160 daffy- styled tricks, go for it.

yeah it wasn't that long ago either. Just search freekout extreme or something there are a load of threads about it.

The game is good, has some gay challenges like "find the missing dogs" and you are limited as to what grabs you can do (each character has a quiver of I think 3 grabs...?) plus it only works on PC (unless you have paralells or vmware fusion)

yee this game is actually pretty fun.  downloaded it form the thread a while ago and really wasn't upset that I did it.  The graphics are pretty damn good and the character has some style.  pretty sure you can do corks but you do like three grabs in total I think.  they look sick but should be more.  worth it for you guys to check it out.

I played through this a while ago.. pretty fun compared to any other skiing game.. if you like backcountry ridiculousness.

When I played through this game I noticed that none of the slopestyle parks were groomed, and they had way too many rails. In the last slopestyle comp you were actually supposed to transfer from start to finish, on like hundred rails.

anyone play that old ass johnny mosley skiing game for the origional playstation, i bought it thinkin it was gonna be the sickest game to hit the shelves, not the case it really sucked...bad ever since that iv been waiting for something better...

well obviously its not as realistic as COD4 is to war and even that's a bit far fetched.
I should have worded it differently, probably something along the lines of it looks the funnest or a bit more realistic than ssx.

I mean I don't have the game, I've never played it, but from what I can see in videos on youtube and from searching for skiing games online in my opinion it seems like its closer to reality than other games.

If you can point me to a game that is "most realistic" in your terms please do so and hats off to you, but keep in mind I am on a mac so I needed to be compatible.

For crying out loud, do I need a lawyer to look over my text everytime I want to post something on NS?

Any game will be unrealistic if you play it unrealistically. Freakout was pretty realistic if you played it right. I wasn't a huge fan of most of the challenges and grabs, but there are some good pillow lines in there.

ssx blur on the wii's pretty fun too I'm constantly surprised by the stuff it suddenly pulls for example last week at my friends house I just pressed random buttons in the air and it did a lui kang!
I haven't been able to do it since but I was super stoked

The game is really fun. The career mode and challenges are garbage but just freeskiing around is really fun. I'd suggest everyone on NS with a half decent computer download the torrent. It's only 600mb if I remember right./
