what is the best type of binding hook up i know when i look at trav circus vids i see they use some kind of marker binding is that a good binding?

You're never going to get one answer because some people have had good/bad experiences with every binding, and others tend to lean toward one binding over another. However, certain ones tend to stand out: FKS series, Marker Jester (the one in TC), look P series, PX 15. Basically any binding that has a high DIN is pretty reliable.

how about marker griffons? im no saying they're good im just wondering peoples opinion abput them since they're just a lower din version of the jester

The Griffons... made out of soybeans, fish scales and super glue. Marker doesn't even make them, Mattel does.. Seriously dude I never say this but searchbar...

does it really matter? they all have din. all made of plastic/metal/composites. all hold a ski boot and have bolts that mount them to the skis.

get what ever one has the din you need/want.

Not completely true - the Jester has metal in the toe wings and heel tower - I think its 50g heavier but more durable as well.

As said, it really depends how much binding you need

IMO just don't get the salomon Z series, really there are tons of bindings that will work.  I ski rossi
