like on outlook? where your contacts are sync'd up between your book of business (or whatever you have on there) and your phone and your pda if you want?
or so that when you changed your own information, it was automatically updated on your friends' phones?
if the latter is what you mean, i imagine that the difficulties of you and your contacts being on different cell phone providers would make this tough to do.
and if you were to setup an internet database where you could keep track of all of your friends phone numbers and information, couldnt you just update it in your phone instead of updating it online then sync-ing?
^ so you would just have to have a way for all of your friends to be connected to this database online, or to at least give them the "refresh contacts" option at their lesiure?
sounds like an interesting idea, but don't you think that the text msg many providers send out to your contact list when you get a new phone does the same job for most people?
not to hate, just wondering about the need for this. it sounds like a good idea, just one that has already been accomplished by other means.
