Skiing this Summer

I searched but most the threads were older or had mixed information.

My friend and I are looking to go skiing this summer. We are planning on driving to Mt. Hood, or Whistler or something from California.

I have heard that the public park at Whistler is kind of shitty. I am a beginner park skier, but my friend was sponsored by head when he was in Sweden last year, so he needs some good stuff, big jumps etc.
Our number one choice would be somewhere around Whistler because it seems that it has more nightlife. Is it somehow possible to use the COC or Momentum park, like a day ticket or something, because we want to avoid throwing down for the whole camp.


I have heard that the park at Mt. Hood is pretty good in the summer. Is there any night life up there? Doesn't necessarily have to be, we'll probably be pretty tired after skiing all day and we can chill etc.


So yes any information would be great. Maybe its possible to dig or do dishes or something for a week or two somewhere so we can use a private park. Any information about summer skiing would be greatly appreciated. Ticket prices, stuff to do etc.


Havn't really considered Argentina or anything because it seems to be a little to much with the flight plus everything else. But if someone knows how to get around there and ski for pretty cheap it may be an option.

I hope your joking...Meadows is way to low to have snow in the summer, unless you want to ski on grass and mudd I suggest going to the Glacier on Timberline

Well I think I would go to either Dave Murray Whistler Summer Ski Camp if you're a skier, or like one of those camps at Whistler. There are a couple camps up there, and the night life is pretty decent at Whistler. If you're a beginner park skier, that's fine for that camp atleast, because there are little jumps and easy boxes, but there's also XL jumps and rails and a half pipe for your friend at their private park. I come to this camp two weeks a year and im going this year too :). I went to a couple other ones, but I like theirs cuz at the other camps, like at COC there's a hundred or so people with line ups at each jump/rail. At the Dave Murray one, there's just a good amount of people there. Also im pretty sure the dave murray camp can give you just day passes to use their park, you just gotta contact them.

Aww mann i would so go to session 5 but i have regents and testing till the 26. anyone eles going to this camp? have any other info on it? is it worth it to go in mid july?
