Anyone work at Park City?

Just Just wondering if anyone has ever worked at Park City during the
winter. I am considering taking a year off from school and just work
and ski. Any experiences from working there? Are there any affordable
housing in PC if you were to work a lower paying job?

If you wait till the last minute housing is tough to get. In terms of winter jobs I think next year will be easy b/c of changes to immigration laws that deal with work visas

Get your application in now, look for housing NOW. If you have a vehicle (car, small truck) sometimes it's easier to get a house in salt lake and drive everyday. I did that for 2 years and it was cheap, then I moved up to pc for 2 years and it's expensive as all get out for a tiny room. If you want to party and work and party and work, live on the bus line somewhere in PC. But the main item to take out of this thread is START LOOKING FOR HOUSING NOW. Once august rolls around it's pretty dicey to find stuff.

i probably wouldn't come out here until november....i'm sure you are correct when you say that housing fills up fast after august. there are a few places that i checked out that seem doable...do you think they would hold a room if i paid a deposit or whatever?

I would say that's a case by case basis kinda thing. call the landlord and have a chat with them...
