The Bruins NEVER got to go shorthanded. The habs had to deal with it 5 or so times...
Lucic better get suspended for one game; because of the crosscheck he did right in the face of Lapierre.

they played bad they got beat up pretty early by the goon squad. pittsburgh is good at rebounding off a loss like that look for them to come out on fire next game.

your a funny guy you know that? just because a player can score goals and make passes dosnt mean he cant fight as well as any fighter. Tell me Chara cant kick anyone in the leagues ass right now if he tried. Habs blew it and will blow it again. How embarrassing, Bruins now have all of the momentum and confidence. Habs have been deflated for the past 2 games, they are ready to quit.

I picked San Jose and Boston to go deep this year, and it sure looks like San Jose is going to let me down.

Pittsburgh, Detroit, Boston and Vancouver are all looking good right now.

I hope the Rangers can hold on to their series, but Washington may have opened the flood gates with that last game. If Lundquist can stand on his head for game 4 I think they have it sealed up.

I got no problem with clean hits, and that was definitely a clean hit on Umberger... but thats a pretty dick move on the part of Brad Stuart and the Wings.  You're up in the series 2-0.  and winning the game 2-0 half way through, and you're taking shots at a team's best players.  Its pretty obvious the Wings are going to sweep the series.  I mean the jacks have only scored 2 goals in 3 games.  But you're risking giving a career ending concussion or broken neck, just to put salt in the wound, and send the rest of a league a message.  Save those for close games, and when you need the momentum.  Karma's a bitch.

I agree that it was a dick move, and probably an unnecessary hit, but they cannot afford to let Columbus gain any momentum. Remember that the Wings let up on Nashville last year and Nashville came back to tie the series, so the Wings won't give any mercy this year.
Oh, and that goal by Zetterberg is what Commodore gets for being a dumbass behind the net

Yeah.  To Papa Stuart's credit that was a textbook open ice hit.  No charge, and no elbow.  But Detroit is making Columbus their bitch.  They're dominating in every category: goals, goals allowed, hits, penalties the list goes on.  With one apathetic game left for the bluejackets, the last thing you wanna do is get in a headhunting match.  Remember Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Hossa, and Lindstrom still need to win 12 more games after this series.

I don't think their was a single person in this world that though Detroit wouldn't take the series in 4, or at the very most 5.
