Crowbar strap won't fit helmet

I don't know if I'm asking too much but I'd like it when I buy goggles for them to fit over my helmet...well they don't so I guess I might as well buy a new helmet so I'm looking at the Bern Watts but I don't want to buy a new just to find out that doesn't fit either.

So I have the Oakley Terje sig goggles and I want them to fit a large or XL helmet, or can I buy a spare longer strap?

it actually is comfortable under the helmet. I wasn't a believer until i tried it. plus with goggles over, the strap pushed up against my earpad which pushed up against my ear, and at the end of the day it hurt so much from the pressure that I couldn't even touch it. idk if that happens to anyone else?

yeah these kids speak the truth, put under your helmet and dont forget the beanie. its just as comfortable if not more

yes omg that always happens to me. Even when i don't wear my strap under the helmet, my ears kill by lunch :(

I have the JP Auclair Crowbars, and they fit over my Large Bern Baker helmet fine.

did you make the strap as big as it can go?
i mean you have to have a MASSIVE helmet for it not to fit. my friend uses a large g10mx which is huge and his c-bars fit over it fine

At first I wasn't convinced about under the helmet, I thought it was really uncomfortable. But i was just doing it wrong, the strap really goes around your lower head/upper neck. That way the plastic part of the strap isnt digging into the back of your skull. it rests on the muscley soft part of your upper neck.

i have a medium baker, my bars fit good over, tehy fit ok under as well, although teh brim catches teh wind too easily so i usually go over to keep my helmet on.

well do they make strapped that as longer or is it a one size fits all deal?

My retro green strap (which was called "stretch" at one time" fits way looser/longer than my denim one. Maybe it just had more use, or maybe the stretch ones were called that because they were stretchier or something. Either way that one fits easily over my old G10mx, and the denim ones barely do...

But on my new helmet I prefer to wear a toque with gogs on and the helmet above that, and no ear flaps. It's really comfy that way.
