ON3P Needs Newschoolers help - Stolen Skis at Squaw

I was wondering if people in the Lake Tahoe area could keep their eyes out for a pair of stolen 186cm ON3P JBS that were taken from the village at Squaw Valley last night.

Skis are 186cm long, full twin, 104 underfoot.  Pretty similar to a gotama to give you an idea of what they look like.

Mounted with older salomon s900s.

This is the [B][U]ONLY[/U][/B] pair of these skis in the tahoe area.  There are a pair of wrenegades around there with the same topsheet graphic, that do not have the big "3" in the tip, owned by powderhound100 on here. 

If anyone sees these skis, please let me know so we can get them back to their owner.  They were supposed to be competing in the Crystal freeride comp soon and it would be sweet if we could get them back in time :D.

I figure if there is ANY ski right now that would be easy to track down, this would be it.  There is only 52 pairs out there right now and I know where 51 of them are.

they were my skis. i was gettin shammered in the village pretty late and someone swiped em i guess. it's a unique enough ski that they shouldn't be usable at any hill any NSer rides at. i'll do my best to make it worth your while to get them back to me. i live in tahoe city, ski squaw when i can, will be riding alpine soon. please, punch the motherfucker in the face if you see the culprit as well.

I'd think that a ski thief would know better than to steal a really rare ski, but perhaps I'm overestimating the average ski thief. That's horrible; I hope you get your skis back Prophet.

Keep a lock on ebay and craigslist... I would think they would be sold locally so the more people from tahoe who know about it the better. If you're from the area, tell your friends!

Yeah I remember when Matt Harvey's Armadas were stolen out of the back of his car, there was an NS wide crusade to kill whoever took them, but I don't think they were ever seen again. Keep an eye peeled, one can only hope they surface soon.

It's like the first 48: the longer it goes, the less likely they'll ever be found.

Yeah, we did make over 50 pairs, and we do have different skis for him to use.  Only thing is that to have him compete on the pair he is used to skiing, I would either have to have it shipped to us from the east coast, or have him compete on my pair with demo bindings.  Not ideal.

If we don't get it in time, we will figure out some pair for him to use.  They just probably won't be super ideal comp skis for him (although this could largely depend on the conditions) or bigger/stiff compared to what he is used to.

So yeah - we have skis for him to use in the comp, but it would be sweet to just get his skis back for him.

Whoever stole these deserves a swift kick in the nuts. Actually, anyone who steals a pair of skis deserves a swift kick in the nuts. The difference here is if the dude who stole these skis is actually caught by a NSer/maggot, he probably will get a swift kick in the nuts with a hard plastic ski boot.

I highly doubt it.. who would steal ON3P skis if they knew how rare they were.. unless they plan on never using them and mounting them on their wall..
