secrets to the c-rail?
im trying to get this c rail that is set up at my hill but i get on and get about half way and come off of the rail. what are your suggestions on how to do the whole thing?

Just lean into into the turn more. I first concentrate on locking on the rail, then I look at the end of the rail (not the curve) and my weight almost naturally flows along the bend in the rail. Takes some getting used too, but isn't very difficult.

For almost any rail the best thing to do is focus on the far end of it. If you stay loose and calm your body will do what it needs to automatically

what you gotta do is find the perfect speed which is key, if you go too slow you wont have the force to take you around the curve and will just slide out. if you go too fast youll jump too far and wont land under your feet. Just let the rail take you and make sure your knees are really bent. focus on the end of the rail. and before you drop picture yourself doing it in your head and say to yourself i know i can do it.

i mean like too fast that you over shoot the whole rail cause the one at my mountain is set up on an angle and you can go too fast and jump over the entire rail

i havent found that i can come too fast at our c rail, and its seems like it is set up like yours, i think its easier the faster you go, and just relax, they are scary as anything, just come at it with an i dont care attitude and own that thing
hmm, the only problem i ever have is leaning too much, but anyway, what you have to do is just go with the rail and don't think too much about it

heres the deal. You get on the rail like you are ding a flat rail. Then you will naturally start to lean and you will do it. The prob nthat you are having is either you are going to slow or you are trying to get on leaning.

so i have this old tramp part of the curve, and this basketball hoop part and it ends up being a perfect c rail hat could go off my dec ( about 3 feet high... but they'res 2 problemas there are holes for springs that im thinking i might catch on and i am trying to figure out if id have enough speed. its pretty curved ( the tramp aw 15 feet diameter) and the hole rail is like 9 feet... i know im gunnna get shit for this but im using fuking tramp and bball hoop parts .... do you think this could work, or should i give it up

depending on whether you're right foot forward or left foot forward on rails, it is easier for some people to slide them unnatural.

to do a c rail it seems to me like you just have to try and fall of to the side it turns to. when i learned to do them i always came off to soon, but you just have lean more.
i have no idea what im talking about because if i ever think about hitting a c rail my friends eat shit and die and i get scared... but if theyre anything like the half s box/ c box at mammoth its all about shifting weight, lean forward throught the first half and back through the second... but not so far back you fall on your ass on the exit.
