I need some advice on how to make me knee heal faster. I didnt hurt it very bad, but I woke up this morning, its pretty stiff and painful. Im hoping to be skiing soon (bridger got over 80 inches this weekend) What can I do to help it heal faster? Ive already elevated/iced/took anti-imflamatories. I was told heat was bad in the first 24 hours, is it ok after that?

Alternate Heat and Ice Its totally uncomfortable and annoying but it really works,
As you begin to get mobility back slowly start to stretch it and work it till the strength builds back up
If there isnt too much damage should take less then 2 or 3 days.

deffinatly dont just keep it still all day, keep the range of motion working, and as long as it isnt swelling anymore then you dont need to keep it elevated or iced.
