heres abunch i dug out from a poetry project for school.


The jazzy blues swim through my head.
Thoughts are good, but relax instead.
Sitting here. Winding down the day.
This moment is perfect, in a most unconventional way.
If only every second of every day,
Could be just the same.
The world would be a nicer place,
And people could see with a better face.
My mind is set in a dreamy way,
I feel sleep is needed,
Just not today.
But hey, who knows,
I might find this place.
When I hit the pillow, or when I wake.
Good night today,
Ill see you tomorrow,
Before the sun breaks.



Anger erupts,
Fire-breath corrupts.
Tornado’s rage,
Destroys the feelings laid.
Strike like lightning,
Leaving dark scars.

Feeling monsoons,
Blow away the pain.
Storms of tears, and
Thunderous screams

Are precursors
To much eviler things.




Summer nights dreams,
Summer nights dreams,
Fresh clean air, n
Dirty bedsheets.
Summer nights breeze
Kisses my check
As I drift away from reality.
To aplace where I can be everything I see
Deep in my mind in a summer night’s sea.

Heavy eyelids
Lead to things I love to see.
Dreams of girls, places, and my favorite things.
It lets me wake with a big happy grin,
Wishing I could do it all over again.
Wanting more,
Summer nights dreams.



When we were born,
We were given a fresh canvas.
Brushes were supplied,
And we painted our spirits on the wall.

After years of this craft,
I feel I’m on the right track.
My portrait will never be finished,
But it’s beginning to look like me.
I think I am on the path,
That leads to the most beautiful picture of all.

This is my journey,
To find out who I am.
I think I am pleased, with who I am becoming.


The darkness curves, cutting deep.
With white, the darkness fights.
Seriating the battle ground,
It extends where light cant reach.
Taking its time,
With evil lines,
Its sharp bite, ruins minds.
Devilish deception, stealing lives.
The attack continues,
Yet it never dies.
The black keeps burning,
Glowing in the night.
You cant turn it away,
no matter how hard you try.
