no, its ski gabber. I know the story, im just not sure im completly accurate, if anyone wants to add to what i said or change anything feel free to...bassicly Trevor Peterson was a big mtn local skier at whistler. He made tons of first decents on lots of British Columbia mtns. He was a very well respected local. He died skiing (avalanche?), and in his honor, people made Trevor Would Do It bumperstickers.

'Trevor Would Do It' is a sticker slogan that pays homage to the late, great Trevor Peterson. Trevor was one of, if not the greatest big mountain skier to ever live. He rode out of Whistler and holds many first descents in the area, countless magazine covers, and unforgettable film segments.

Tragically, Trevor was killed in an avalanche in Chamonix, France in the late 90's, but his spirit lives on through his son Kye, who is ripping it up better than most at the age of 13.

So next time you're standing on top of a cliff, thinking it's a bit sketchy, remember: Trevor Would Do It.

And for those of you that didnt know any of this, you better check yourself before you wreck yourself.

It's very similar to the Eddie Would Go, slogan quiksilver has, refering to the famous hawaiian surfer/lifeguard, that was caught in a storm 12 miles of the shore in an outrigger canoe. He set out to shore with a 10 ft surfboard and a bag of oranges in hope to reach land and save his crew stranded out on the disabled kyak. The crew was later rescued by a coast guard helicopter, but Eddie Aikau never made it back. They hold a big wave surfing tournie in his honnor, it is an on call tournement in hawaii set between a few months, and if conditions get just right and big enough, most of the best surfers in the world drop everything and flock to the tournie. It would be sick to set up a big mountain even to honor Trevor.

My little brother Trevor Petersen was a big mountain skier out of Whistler. When he died in an avalanche (anniversary today) in Chamonix, my other brother and myself wanted to raise money for his kids, Kye and Neve. I designed this sticker and we sold them to create a fund for the kids. As Trevor was also a surfer he was a big fan of Eddie Aikau so we adopted the "Eddie Would Go" phrase and adapted it as Trev held the same spirit and passion for his chosen sport, skiing. You can still buy this sticker and a t shirt at Whistler e shop (I'm not affiliated but gave them the rights to keep the spirit alive).
