what age are most pros? i'm 16 turning 17 and i really didn't start freestyle till late last year and i was wondering if i still had a chance of making something out of skiing. I'm just wondering what ages the pros are

because tanner hall is 43, eric pollard is going on 38 and jossi wells (favored to win the EXTREME GAMES) is only 12 years old.

YEAH THESE KIDS ARE RIGHT.... T Hall JUST turned 51 last month and Jossi very recently graduated from the 7th grade... I WOULD KNOW HE GOES TO MY SCHOOL.
and Tim Wallmart happens to be only 17 and three months...

honest response. Most likely no chance in hell. These guys are so dialed in by the time they are your age it is crazy. My dughter spends her summers at the olympic park in Park City and these guys are out there working shit out on a daily basis. So unless you have super sick body awareness or are a gymnast just go out and have some fun

Most of the park good park guys are around 20, so you'd be starting a bit late but if you worked hard you might be able to make it. Othewise most of the park skiiers over 25 just end up in the backcountry anyway so you would have plenty of time if you were looking to become a freerider or somethin

but this guy does speak the truth.  Most of those guys are completely sick at what they do by the time they are your age.
but don't let that get you down.
if you want it badly enough, you have a good shot at doing it.
just work your heart out and get your self a tramp/backyard rail setup and get to work.

you for sure have a chance, but honestly the only way though that you for sure could really make sonething happen is if you fuck everything else and make it happen, and devote 110% of everything you have to skiing.

Man, I think being sponsorized would suck. You would have to wear a bunch of shit you might not want to wear etc. Rock planks you don't want to ride. Would suck tbh.

Don't get into skiing to become man. do it to love it. If you dont love it you wont get far no matter what. Skiing isnt a sport its a lifestyle.

Yeah anyone who skis just cuz they want recognition and fame can suck a big one. I'm not saying being famous for skiing is bad, but if all you want is attention, you've got the wrong idea by a long shot.

wallisch didn't get super good until his first year of uni in Utah I'm pretty sure. That's when he made his superunknown...that was when he was 18 or 19 or so. I'm sure you could get really good if you had the same work ethics as he does which are insane.

Just have fun...if you enjoy progressing and working super hard at what you love to do then you will get there. JUST BELIEEEEVEEEEE
