I dont know, magnetic closure kinda bugs. Whenever you walk by a car or anything, your jacket snaps to it. Ninja cuffs are a must though. I don't understand how higher end companies can make snow jackets without Ninja cuffs. Hoods should always be attatched, powder skirts that can be snapped away so they're not hanging down. I like the thing that SMS pants have where you can pull something in your pocket and it raises your pant cuffs so they don't drag. That's dope because rolling your pants above you boots looks seriously homo, mind you I have to do it to keep my pants from getting destroyed, but its gay as shit.
jacket - if it's got lots of pockets with zippers and a good pocket for my mp3 player, then i'm stoked. detachable hood is a plus.
pants - pockets with zippers, belt loops.
gloves - goggle wipe on the thumb.
that's about it.
And so, the figment of the delusional man's imagination said unto Kevin, "What is your fucking problem, asshole?"
It was a rhetorical question, for God already knew that Kevins biggest problems were with Him. Kevin would have answered it anyways though, if not for the fact that God existed only in delusions, and only insane people could hear Him.

i like hand gaiters, mp3 player pocket that has a whole to pull the head phones out, squeeges on gloves, magnetic hood hold things. the little things are the deciding factor whether I buy one jacket or another for me.
The LDC magnets are suprisingly really strong ! :P i'll probably just get an iPod Shuffle and have it in the pocket - its small enough to stay out of the way of the magnet :P I found out about the magnets because my brother borrowed my LDC jacket to school and he came back tonight all pissed! :P turns out the magnets fucked up his screen on his iPhone3G :P
I've never even seen a pair of pants that didn't have gaiters. Hand gaiters are certainly a plus, don't really look for it though. 10k/10k minimum, fully taped seams also. Prefer attached hoods, and rather have shells with a lining rather than insulation.
in terms of functionality then gore-tex xcr with waterproof zippers, powder skirt, suspenders on pants with powder bibs and strong material around the ankles to prevent rips from edges. basically all of that is summed up in cloudveil or arc'teryx
so i took a PHATY shit and flushed and to my surprise it just clogged worse and started overflowing and so i was tryin to clean that shit up but cut myself on a sword that i keep hanging over the toilet. at this point i completely lost it because my cat just died so i smashed the FUCK out of my toilet with this dwarven sludge hammer thats also hanging in my bathroom and now my bathrooms kinda flooding but FUCK it im gonna go get some taco bell LATE
Wrist gaiters, boxer tops on pants (airblaster, special blend etc.), those burton ipod controls on the wrists, little loops in the inside of the jacket which hold your headphone cord (so when they fall out of your ears they dont fall to the ground), extendable sleeves, pockets big enough for gloves, powder skirts which clip to pants, good vents
