Titus69Probably because everyones saying "look, that kid ruined a classic car"
saskskierNot a kid and didn't ruin it...
Titus69Ehhh to the stance kids eyes its not ruined but to people like me its just ruined, I do like the color though
crotchventI wouldn't call it stanced cause there really isn't any camber on it.

saskskierThere is definitely camber. It's not insane, but he's got 9.5's in the back and there is only like a couple inches of contact. It was the only way to tuck the wheels in. He considered an air set-up, but ended up going static. It's pretty hairy to drive, but also a lot of fun. Low and slow. Ha ha.
I definitely get what titus is saying. Honestly, I like the look of low/slammed Beetles better than stock/restored. I think it also goes back to having something a unique and not like every other car out there.
slick_rickTo the guy with the b6, looks super clean man! Here's my 6 speed 2005 B7 A4 wagon
Haven't done much to it too far, just catback magnaflow exhaust and a few little intake things. It's sitting on alzor 349's right now. Hopefully going to get Stage 1 tune from APR after I go to court and bring boost from stock 8 to 15 psi for the winter, and gonna get a black ski box off craigslist too. Coilovers coming in the spring, it looks like a monster truck right now lol!
Brentizzle
JaybrtnOnly recent photos I have. 06 WRX. Built motor, rotated turbo setup, STi swapped everything, 6 speed, etc. Too much to list. In the winter I swap out my suspension, slap on different wheels with blizzak tires, and mount the ski rack. She's muh baybay
JaybrtnShe's muh baybay
Cirillolol you can't just drop this in here without more pictures!
BenWhitI have always loved that style wing. so sick. obviously, built block and clocked turbo are sicker, but love the wing and love the color.
BrentizzleNew winter whip. 1998 jdm subaru legacy gtb e-tune. Twin turbo powa!!! The other wagon is my roommates 1998 Nissan Stagea 260rs autech which is essentially a R33 GTR wagon. (rb26dett ftw)
Bassage.been a while since i posted any pictures of my driver, lot of updates too since the last time
JaybrtnHaha, well I just finished the motor build and just recently added some cosmetic parts along with having a few things repainted/paintmatched white, so no super recent pictures that would do it justice. I'll try to get a few new ones this week. In the mean time, here's one from a few years ago.

MoosenWhere do you live. what turbo, and what piston, rod combo did you go with? Closed deck? What fuel?
Titus69Looks awesome, love that spoiler. White hawkeyes are the best
JaybrtnLacey, wa. Running pump gas for now. Will run E85 for laffs at some point. Open deck ej257, cp pistons, manley h beam rods, new sti crank, acl race bearings, arp head studs, head refresh, etc. Might do cams and head build down the road. Full ETS rotated kit which comes with garrett GT3076r w/tial hotside, vband everything, downpipe, uppipe, tial 44mm ewg, tial bov, 4" intake, running speed density. Full Aeromotive fuel system (plus walbro fuel pump) which includes fuel rails, everything AN fittings, fuel pressure regulator, aeroquip fuel lines. ID1000 injectors, tgv deletes, etc. Too much to list, not even including the transmission swap, suspension components, cooling system, audio, interior, paint, wheels, etc.
Basically the definition of a money pit lol.
MoosenNice that has always been a favorite setup. I have a gt3563 with the tial hotside. But your car should be a fun little daily. I tuned a car that had a similar setup. gt3082 with bc272 cams springs and what not. Made about 400whp on pump gas. and closer to 530whp on e85. Such a fun torquey little beast. Nice car man!
JaybrtnThanks man! I'm breaking it in now, but I look forward to finally getting it tuned and seeing what it puts out. I've got another block sitting at my house that I'll bore and sleeve one of these days. But that probably won't happen any time soon.
MoosenGive me a shout if you are interested in having me tune it. I have tuned 100's of subaru's and love traveling. I have been all over the PNW tuning them! I just recently left my job and started working independently. https://www.facebook.com/rspectune
.FryMy 99' suburban. These pics are pretty outdated, but I didn't feel like finding new ones. Since these pics were taken, I've blacked out the entire truck. It actually looks pretty sick. It has really low miles for a 16 year old truck too. Only 108k.
taj.ommggg dat stagea. Most unique car I've seen so far in this thread. Need to get my ass up to Canada ASAP
BrentizzleYeah man its fucking sick. We have pulled on so many $70k+ cars that don't even know what hit them. Nobody expects it and thats whats best. We recently did a gumbal style race out new Calgary and the Stagea was keeping up to 2010 m3's, AMG's and other exotics with no struggle. Pulls on 335i's all day long. When we got to the destination in Banff every at lunch was like "who the fuck owns that insanely fast black station wagon???1?!?!"
This is when he had it on SSR Viennas this summer.
willifastIs it a 1500 or 2500? I have a '97 2500 and love it.
.Fry2500
willifastnice, with the 454 or 350?
M.M
Only pics I got, 14 grand cherokee
Titus69In general I don't like old beetles but appreciate what they are. Not a stance guy either, more of a rally guy and kinda like track racing but with some cars I don't see why you would make it scrape, anything with potential or is purpose built to race should be raced, ex: Mitsubishi evo should be used on a rally stage or racetrack not hard parking at McDonalds. Its just how I think. Some cars look good stanced but need to be done right in my eyes, no stretch or bizzare camber and not to low.
plyswthsqrrlsyou have the narrowest car mind I've ever seen. let people build their rides however they want to dude

mmallender.and if i remember correctly... he isnt even old enough to drive a car
funny how that works
cornholiocompany is pulling my truck for this thing
i guess i should consider it an upgrade since ill now have power windows, doors, cruise control, etc
taj.I would kill to have crank windows in my car haha
crotchventCurious as to why?
Titus69Where did you get the idea im to young? I'm almost 19 lol
taj.Because my car is an '89 and electronics fail after some time. Usually cheaper to fix a crank window for an old/uncommon car than an electronic one. Plus it's just satisfying to do stuff yourself lol

Titus69I call it personal preference plus to me its worth more to spend money on suspension for racing and being functional not scraping, blowing tires and having to explain to people why your car looks the way it does. People can do whatever they want to their car, I can't make them do what I want to it.
Brentizzle"When you’re raised to believe that only your opinion matters, you immediately remove any opportunity to learn from your life. Countless times I’ve read harsh one-word comments which thrash someone’s hard work with no justification or even the decency to qualify their stance. Or worse. Rather than appreciating an awesome final product, they immediately turn it around into what they would have done to make it 'better'. This latter example exemplifies the increasing levels of narcissism displayed by a lot of Millennials, typically none of which have ever done anything to show that they are even remotely capable of creating something on their own in the first place. Instead, they believe that the rest of us mere mortals should be grateful that they’ve shared their virtuous judgement with us.
Politely, they can f**k off."
